Canada Geese at Sunset
I loved how the sunset colors were reflecting off of the geese. I also liked the colored clouds in the background.
Apple Blossom Time in Otis Orchards
Yup, that time of year. Apples, Cherries, Plums, and Pears are in full bloom.
Vestige of old brick work by the falls. A brick layer's craftsmanship who is long gone.
The narrow chasm on the north side of the Spokane falls is always impressive in the spring.
A "balanced" diet
It is always interesting watching this big flicker balance itself on our suet feeder.
The Good Place
Our kitty's favorite place in the winter ....hmmm, I wonder why.
One of our squirrels loves getting inside the bird feeder and chowing down. He thinks that I think he is a bird.
Tops and Wagons
The Inland Woodworkers group gets together each December and makes old fashion wooden toys for the Vanessa Behan Crises Center. These are a few of them.
Reaching for the Sky
I love the fall colors, especially against a perfectly blue sky.
The last few days of some beautiful fall flowers.
I have lived in the Spokane Valley and Otis Orchards areas most of my life. I have had photography as one of my hobbies since junior high and I love the challenge of trying to take the perfect photo and one day I may get there. I am a biologist by education and worked in that field for many years. I was in a management position with an agri-business/natural resources company. I am currently retired.
